I run Bhava Beauty as a single-practitioner studio in the Shellharbour region, specialising in lash extensions, lash lifts, and ombré brow tattooing.
My approach is quiet. Every appointment is tailored to your face, your features, and what you actually want. Not a template applied to everyone. The studio is calm, private, and unhurried, and the same person looks after you every time.
Most of my clients have been with me for years. The work is the result of training and practice; the relationship is the part I care about most.
Bhava is a Sanskrit word meaning new beginning. I think of every appointment as a small one.

Ombré Brow Tattoo
Initial full session including consultation and mapping. Touch-up sessions are charged separately.
4 to 8 week touch up
Perfecting session to finalise the result of your initial tattoo.
2 to 6 month touch up
A mid-cycle refresh to maintain depth and definition.
18 to 24 month touch up
A full colour refresh once the original work has faded.

The studio
A quiet room in Shellharbour.
The studio is a private room within a wider salon space in the Shellharbour region, calm, clean, and styled in soft neutrals. There is parking, and the room is quiet enough that most clients fall asleep.
Each appointment runs at its own pace. Some clients talk the whole way through, some prefer the quiet. Both are welcome.
Ombré brow tattoo
Made for your face.
Ombré brow tattoo is a soft-shaded, powdered finish that mimics the look of lightly filled-in makeup. It suits most skin types, holds well over 1–3 years, and is designed to look like your brows on a good day. Not drawn on.
Every brow is mapped to your face individually. We choose the shape together at consultation, agree on the colour and depth, and only begin once you’re certain. The initial session takes around 2.5 hours. A perfecting session at 6–8 weeks finalises the result and is $100, billed at that appointment.

Booking & policies

These terms protect your appointment time and mine. They are non-negotiable, published here so there are no surprises.

Booking deposit
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments. The deposit is applied to your service total.

Cancellations
All deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your appointment may be rescheduled once within 12 weeks at no extra charge. Within 48 hours, the appointment cannot be rescheduled and the deposit is forfeited.

No-shows
A no-show is charged 15% of the service total in addition to the forfeited deposit.

Late arrivals
Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled at the practitioner's discretion. The deposit is forfeited in this case.

Lash retention
Lashes are guaranteed for 48 hours from your appointment. Replacements outside this window are charged at the standard infill rate. Aftercare is provided at every first appointment.

Brow perfecting session
The perfecting session at 6–8 weeks is $100 and must be booked within 12 weeks of the first session. After this window, the service is treated as a colour refresh and charged accordingly.

How long do lash extensions last?
A full set lasts the natural lash cycle, usually 6–8 weeks before all original lashes have shed. Most clients book infills every 2–3 weeks to maintain density.
How long does ombré brow tattoo last?
Between 1 and 3 years, depending on skin type, sun exposure, and aftercare. An annual colour refresh keeps the result looking fresh.
Does brow tattooing hurt?
Most clients describe it as a light scratching sensation. A topical numbing cream is applied before and during the session to keep you comfortable.
Can I get brow tattooing if I've had work done elsewhere?
In most cases, yes, but it depends on the previous work and how it has faded. Send a clear, well-lit photo of your current brows when you enquire and I'll let you know what's possible. Correction work is quoted at consultation.
What if I lose lashes early?
Lashes are guaranteed for 48 hours from your appointment. Outside this window, retention depends on aftercare: natural lash cycles, sleeping position, oil-based products, and mascara all affect how long they last. Aftercare instructions are provided at your first appointment.
Where is the studio?
The studio is a private room within a salon in the Shellharbour region. The full address is provided in your booking confirmation. There is on-site parking.
Do you take walk-ins?
No. All appointments are booked in advance to keep the day calm and on time.
